Mitchell Terk

Dr. Mitchell Terk is a radiation oncologist with practices in Jacksonville, Florida and New York City. He is the founder of Terk Oncology and the Florida Center for Prostate Care. In 1997 he established what is now one of the largest prostate cancer programs in the world. He and his team have treated more than 8,000 men with prostate cancer and published over 200 papers in their field. Dr. Terk is routinely recognized as one of the nation's top oncologists.  He is an internationally acclaimed lecturer on cancer treatment and has presented research at medical centers and conferences around the world. Dr. Terk has trained hundreds of physicians throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Dr. Terk comes from a long lineage of auto enthusiasts, beginning with his grandfather who owned an early auto body and paint shop in New York City.  He first began collecting cars nearly two decades ago.  His collection ranges from pre-war Cadillacs to more modern sports cars.  He has won awards at major Concours and events, including the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance and the Cadillac Grand Nationals.  He is an enthusiastic member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, Classic Car Club of America, Cadillac LaSalle Club, Mercedes Benz Club of America and the Ford GT Forum.  Although a novice on a racetrack, he has driven on Virginia International Raceway (VIR), Miller Motorsports Park, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, NOLA Motorsports Park, Spring Mountain, and the Texas Mile. 

In addition to serving on the board of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, Dr. Terk is also on the board of Florida Physician Specialists.  He has been a member of the Explorers Club since 1991. His wife, Nadine Terk, is an acclaimed artist and serves on the board of the Riverside Fine Arts Association.
