Randy Kimberly
Randall
(Randy) Kimberly married his high school sweetheart in Vancouver, Washington in
1958. He began his automotive career with GM dealers in the Portland, Oregon
area and in 1968 joined the parent company. He served in a number of capacities
throughout his tenure with GM and retired in 2005.
Kimberly assisted in developing the Technical Assistance Center for GMC truck
dealers, developed the national GMC and Chevrolet school bus service strategy to
assist school bus operators in maintaining the safety standards of their
vehicles, and supervised customer relations agents at the GMC Customer Relations
Call Center.
He was a three-term board member for the Yankee Air Museum based in Willow Run,
Michigan, where he chaired the finance and acquisitions committees and served
two terms as president. He served on the Board of Directors for the Navy League,
Jacksonville Council, and one term as president.
Randy and his wife Joan have two children, Shan Kimberly-Scott and Commander
Keith A. Kimberly U.S. Navy. They have two grandchildren, Austin and Morgan.
Kimberly is passionate about anything mechanical whether it has wings, steel
wheels and tracks, runs on rubber tires, or floats in the water.
